Josh Koscheck, Nick Diaz?s camp hoping for a bout
Josh Koscheck's last fight was a loss in May to Johny Hendricks. An injury knocked him off UFC 151 before it was canceled. Now that he is healthy again, he is looking for an opponent. Luckily, Nick Diaz's camp made it easy for Koscheck to come up with someone.
Cesar is calling 4 me the fight Diaz in Feb. Super Bowl weekend! What you guy think? I am DOWN! Don't be scared Homie! #559 lol
? Josh Koscheck (@JoshKoscheck) October 29, 2012
UFC president Dana White said that when Diaz comes off suspension, he will need to win a fight before getting a chance at the belt. Diaz lost a tight decision to Carlos Condit for the interim welterweight belt, then was later suspended when his drug test was found positive for marijuana metabolites.
The suspension means a Super Bowl weekend fight is unlikely. Diaz's suspension ends on Feb. 3, the day after the Feb. 2 date of the event that is normally a huge event for the UFC. But even if it's not that weekend, this is an intriguing fight. The amount of trash talking alone will make it fun, as will watching Diaz try to handle Koscheck's wrestling skill.

Intel working on 48-core chip for smartphones, tablets
Intel researchers are working on a 48-core processor for smartphones and tablets but it could be five to 10 years before it hits the market.
?If we?re going to have this technology in five to 10 years, we could finally do things that take way too much processing power today,? said Patrick Moorhead, an analyst with Moor Insights and Strategy. ?This could really open up our concept of what is a computer? The phone would be smart enough to not just be a computer but it could be my computer.?

Enric Herrero, a research scientist at Intel Labs in Barcelona, Spain, said so far they?ve built a prototype of a 48-core chip designed to run different apps on different cores on a smartphone or tablet.

Hilarious ?Missed Connection? Seeks Woman Who ?Farted in the Bread Section?
It's one of the more unconventional Missed Connections ads we've seen: Boy sees girl. Boy accuses girl of farting in grocery store. Girl storms off.
Still, it seems there was a love connection -- for the boy, at least.
Eloquently entitled, "You farted last night in Sobeys!" the Missed Connection was published Friday on Kijiji, a hub for posting online classified ads, similar to Craigslist.

Kindle Fire + Kindle Fire HD up for pre-order in Japan, shipping Dec. 19
Amazon's Kindle Fire range continues to spread, with today's news that Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD tablets will be heading to Japan in time for the holidays. Both devices are available to pre-order now at Amazon's Japanese site -- the vanilla Kindle Fire priced at ¥12,800 ($160), and the HD version at ¥15,800 ($200). In addition, Amazon offers the Kindle Fire HD with 32GB of storage for ¥19,800 ($250). For the moment, it seems only the 7-inch Kindle Fire HD will be offered in Japan -- there's no mention of the larger U.S.-bound Fire HD models arriving on Japanese shores.
Gaining a foothold in the Japanese tablet market will be an important step for Amazon, as it does battle with the likes of Apple and Google. Both flavors of Kindle Fire will begin shipping to Japanese consumers on Dec. 19.
