The below short film goes behind-the-scenes of the sound design of Pixar's Brave. Director Mark Andrews, sound designer Gary Rydstrom, supervising sound editor Gwen Yates Whittle and sound designer E.J. Holowicki talk about the long sound process from beginning to end on the animated feature.
Says Rydstrom, "The movie was already looking to be so much different than...other Pixar films. It doesn't look like other Pixar films. The score is different and I wanted the sound to be different than other Pixar films. I've done other Pixar films but this felt like an opportunity to do something very different."
