Tyrone Spong, Steve Mocco to make MMA debuts after careers in other sports
Two athletes who have made their mark in other combat sports are making their MMA debut this weekend.
On Friday, Steve Mocco will make his MMA debut at Resurrection Fighting Alliance. Mocco is one of the best-credentialed wrestlers to make the jump to MMA. He represented the U.S. in the Olympics in 2008, won a Division I NCAA title and the Dan Hodge Trophy, which is awarded to the best collegiate wrestler across divisions. His foot sweep confounded opponents as they had a hard time defending against Mocco's speed.
He will fight Tyler Perry -- no, not Madea -- on Friday. Though he knows he'll have high expectations, he told MMA Fighting he is most excited about competing again.
You know, I just want to compete. If it's on the feet, I want to get the better of the feet and if it's on the ground, I want to get the better of him on the ground. Wherever we'll find ourselves on the floor, I want to do better at.
For Spong, he is jumping to MMA after a long career as a kickboxer. Before tomorrow's debut with the World Series of Fighting, he's won several titles in different promotions, and even once defeated Ray Sefo, the president of WSOF.
Spong is making his debut against Travis Bartlett, and admitted to MMA Junkie he has some nerves going into the fight.
"The most important thing is that I'm not overlooking him," he said of Bartlett. "I'm focusing on the fight; I'm not listening to what other people say. I'm an experienced fighter, so I know what's important."
His fight will air on NBC Sports Network on Saturday night.

Galaxy S Relay 4G receiving small update via Kies
The Galaxy S Relay 4G from T-Mobile has only been available for a couple of months now, but it is already receiving a maintenance update. The update will bring the device up to firmware version T699UVALJ1 and is listed to fix two issues on the device. The first is fixing an issue with Media Hub playback, and the second is backend improvements to pinch-and-zoom throughout the software.
The update is unfortunately only available via Samsung Kies desktop software, and not OTA (Over The Air). For such a small update, we really wish they would just push it out without users having to go through the desktop process.

YouTubers Rule List Of Most Popular Thanksgiving Videos
Thanksgiving is tomorrow. For some people, this means pigging out on the feast to end all feasts. For others, it is a chance to show off their culinary skills. Some people just do weird stuff like, um, this. Turkey Day is a chance for YouTube's brightest stars to release their best work, and if you're looking for a funny video to show your folks, no further than this list from Visible Measures of the most popular Thanksgiving-related videos. The list is populated with several of our favorite creators; Epic Meal Time, predictably, own the #1 and #5 spots on the list, but I was more interested in seeing which other popular YouTubers made the cut. Freddie Wong's THANKSCEPTION will one day stand as a relic of the year 2010, but given as how I just made an Inception reference earlier today, I don't think I'm at liberty to make that judgment. FRED also made the top 10, as did Ryan Higa with his very clever 'Things That Ruin Thanksgiving' video. The top ten is rounded out by a Rebecca Black-esque song about the holiday, the 'turkey call' video linked above, Brad Pitt's Friends appearance, Adam Sandler's Thanksgiving song, and this turkey dubstep video (if you think that one's cool, you should check out its sequel).
